Mangaroca
Cachaça
This
strong sugar-cane distillate (aguardente de cana de açucar),
one of the most consumed drinks in Brazil, appeals to a trendy, young
and upper-class clientele, and has gained popularity on an international
level.
Cachaça is the base of the famous Caipirinha (little peasant
girl): 2 fresh limes, grated and squeezed, 2 table spoons of cane sugar,
1 cup of Mangaroca Cachaça, 1 cup of crushed ice. Combine sugar,
grated lime peel and lime juice. Add Mangaroca Cachaça and pour
into glasses filled with crushed ice. Mangaroca Cachaça is a
