Paolina Sambuca The
name, which has nothing to do with the plant of Elder (Sambuco in Italian),
was given to an anise-based liqueur, created in Civitavecchia, near
Rome, over 130 years ago.Sambuca Paolina can be served on ice, with
one or two coffee seeds as ornament. Sambuca Paolina is used as a coffee-corrector
in various regions of Italy. The distinctive taste of the Sambuca Paolina
combines perfectly with the fragrance of the coffee. |
